The occultist magician Aleister Crowley liked to describe himself as the Antichrist of the Apocalypse (Therion - Beast 666) and once boasted: "Before Hitler was, I am." He often claimed that Adolf Hitler was his guinea pig or magic child, a term used by hypnotists to describe an "inner shadow" or product of the unguarded psyche.
While in America during the First World War, Crowley unflinchingly proposed "collecting a large number of photographs, full face and profile for each subject, and classifying them according to the horoscope." To other occultists, such a photo experiment would have been for "the educated astrologer to adopt scientific methods of study." I doubt that. Crowley was more huff than puff and even though Hitler was an interesting character I doubt he was being controlled by anyone or anything. Besides, there are no magick techniques in the world that teach proper mind control techniques. If there was I am sure I would've found some by now :P
